A.The Electoral District Executive Committee shall consist of the following
- A Chairperson;
- A Vice Chairperson;
- A Secretary;

- Three members, one of whom shall be of the opposite sex, proposed by the newly- elected Chairperson and presented to the Conference for ratification;
- The Chairpersons of the Ward Executive Committees;
- The Electoral District Executive Committee shall meet at least once every two months;
- The Quorum shall be one-third (1/3) of its membership provided that least nine members of the Electoral District Executive are present (Bfsm. Conv. 29-31.07.93) (Buea Conv. , 11-5.12.96);
B.Powers and Functions
The Electoral District Executive Committee shall meet to transact any or allfollowing business:
- Identify issues (political, social, economic) among others that are of concern in the District;
- Receive reports and distribute to all Wards on: Membership drive; Fund raising activities; Strategies for political campaigns; Mobilisation of voters;
- Harmonise reports and distribute to all Wards and ensure their implementation and prepare reports every two months and forward to the Region;
- Provide strategies for effective communication between the Wards and the Electoral District members;
- Organise the Electoral Disrtict into Council Wards which are geographically contiguous in conformity with the number of Council Constituencies allocated by the party to the villages/agglomerations that make up the Electoral District; (B’da. Conv. 22-24.02.2018);
- Supervise the election of Council Ward Coordinators; (B’da. Conv. 22-24.02.2018);
- Put in place and organise Village and Village Sector Co-ordinations within the Electoral District wherever necessary and appropriate. (B’da. 22-24.02.2018).
- General Administration of the Party in the Electoral District;
- Putting into effect the decisions of the Electoral District Conference;
- Employ and determine the conditions of service, including discipline of all officials of the Party.
C.The Electoral District Conference
The Ward Executive Committee shall meet to transact any/or all the following business; (Bfsm. Conv.29-31.07.93)
- Identify main issues (political, economic, social, etc.) of concern in the Ward;
- Fundraising for the party and candidates;
- Membership drive and the education of voters;
- Draw up strategies for political campaigns;
- Mobilisation of voters at election time;
- General Administration of the Ward;
- Putting into effect decisions of the Ward Assembly;
- Prepare monthly reports for the Electoral District. (Buea Conv. 29-31.7.93)
D.Meeting of the Electoral District Conference
- The Electoral District Conference shall be held at least twice a year; (Buea conv. 11-15.12.96);
- The quorum for the Conference shall be one-third (1/3) of its membership; provided that not less than two-thirds (2/3) of all the Wards are represented.
E.Powers and Functions of the Electoral District Conference
The Electoral District Conference of the Party shall meet to transact any or all of the following business:
- Elect members to the Electoral District Executive Committee of the Party;
- Organise primaries for elections to Parliament under the supervision of the Regional Executive Committee (B’da. Conv. 22-24.02.2018);
- Nominate Electoral District delegates to the Regional Conference and National Convention;
- Approve the budget for running the Electoral District;
- Receive and examine reports of external auditors.
